Serendipity

Serendipity

A series of paintings influenced by chance events, usually produced in moments of boredom or inactivity. These frames are shaped by simple lines overlaid with color. The work begins with a minimal profile line describing an activity, event, or object. The spirit of the moment is then defined by color.

Hence, line and color capture both the emotional-social encounters and spatial experiences that inspired the work.
